We're about to separate from Joshua's tribe in another couple of days. We've been traveling along the foothills for the past week, and we've almost reached the the pass where they will go through the mountains, and we will continue South.
Steve and the kids will be sad to part ways with Joshua and his tribe. They've all managed to make good friends, and are not looking forward to saying goodbye. As for me, I've spent most of the last week in the back of our wagon sick as can be.
What I thought was a bad case of allergies- everyone was suffering from sniffling- quickly showed it's true colors, sapping me of my strength and rendering me completely useless. I barely had enough energy to crochet. And to make matters worse, it was the hottest week since last fall! Running a fever in hot weather is no fun at all!
I'm finally feeling on the mend, though, and can move about again. It will take me a bit longer to come all the way right, though. I hate feeling so useless!
